    My friend's and I ate here Saturday afternoon!  This has been a regular stop for me whenever I am in the area for many decades now!  Fresh, hot, delicious burgers and dogs, served very quickly with a friendly demeanor.  They even give free cookies to veterans when we buy our meals!  Hard to beat!

    I haven't been here since the 90s...it's better than I remember.

    On top of that...they accidentally put hot sauce on a burger for a previous order, that person didn't want it so I got it for free!

    I have to say, I wasn't super excited about being routed by SIRI this way...but after lunch at Melvin's...I get it SIRI...you just want the best for me.

    If you haven't hit Melvin's...get right with Jesus and check them out...you will not be disappointed.

    Simple burgers and hot  dogs. No fries, but chips to save time. Always a line, but in and eating within 7 minutes with 25 people ahead of us. Limited seating but they are fast. Cash only to save cost. Everything item is under $3 bucks. 2 people, 2 burger, 2 chips, 2 drinks. $11. Definitely going back.

    Great place for a regular, no frills burger. The menu is very simple. This is a great family location and the prices are great. I enjoyed a couple cheeseburgers and the freshness is obvious. The service is fast and the place is clean. This is a hole in the wall place (a compliment) which means it usually keeps regulars coming back due to its authenticity.

    I grew up going to White Lake and eating at Melvin's. It's a place like no other!
    It's inexpensive and it is specific! Hamburger or hotdog. Chips and a drink. Period.
    I love my hamburger all the way which is chili, slaw, mustard and Mayo. The burgers are grill-fried right in front of you and I love them!
    Order a couple for yourself because they are not huge and you can't eat just one.
    The burgers travel well so I always get some for the ride back to Florida!
